Douglas Lake

Douglas Lake is set at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Formed from the French Broad River and its tributaries of the Nolichucky and Pigeon Rivers. Douglas Lake has 30,400 acres of water surface and 555 miles of shoreline.

Douglas Lake has a fish population very similar to that found in other East Tennessee Reservoirs - Black Bass, Sauger, Walleye, Crappie and the usual river run of rough fish species.

Douglas Lakes is patrolled by TVA Public Safety Service and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
